carpe diem watch

I want this watch soo bad! You could definitely get away wearing this to class with some David Yurman and Swee Lo!

"Live In The Moment"

Sometimes we need to be reminded to live in the present, and not be worried by what is in the past and what lies ahead in the future. Through its clever design, the Past, Present and Future watch by Daniel Will-Harris only displays the present time thus forcing you to only focus on what is happening in the now, in this very moment. Stainless steel and water-resistant to 100 feet. Assembled in Japan and the US.

Check out Uncommon Goods for tons of unique and fun gifts.  Carpe Diem!

We speak no Esperanto.

Did you know....

a b c ĉ d e f g ĝ h ĥ i j ĵ k l m n o p r s ŝ t u ŭ v z

Movado means "continuous movement" in Esperanto, which is the supposed international language that  promotes peace because of its simplicity and political neutrality.  It's been around since the late 19th century and was officially recognized during the middle of the 20th century.   With an estimated 2 million worldwide speakers, seems like Esperanto hasn't really caught on...

Tried, but true.

Eye candy.  The band is timeless. And like I've said, rose gold is oh-so rich.

Cheers to an equally classy week.

Simply White

The simple silver and white Skagen is on sale for 63. Maybe a bit too simple for my taste.

Not completely loving the logo bezel, Marc by Marc Jacobs, on this watch, but love love love everything else. The white and gold looks effortlessly chic and the face is so simple, easy on the eyes, and very readable. On sale for 99. Although my watch is white, this is quite tempting.

Toying with buying a Toywatch

Happy Sport has ignited this burning for a NEW watch within the superficial part of my soul. When watch browsing, I furrow my brow when I see that Nordstroms has branded white AND ceramic as current watch trends. I liked BOTH of those things before they were a trend...and in the original J12. One day, I will get that watch and it will be forever classic in my eyes, not trendy!

I have always liked the playfully plastic Toywatch watches. Nordstroms is having a big sale and so many of their watches have been reduced...check it!

What do we think of the 'Mini Plasteramic' Bracelet Watch in light blue?

I'm also digging the white band with the blue colored face. Comes in a variety of popping colors for the face.

magical watch?!

Beyond having a ridiculously punctuated name, IO?ION! watches supposedly "increase concentration, natural detoxification of the body, improved sleep, relaxation and medication, improved vitality and mood" because they are treated with the semi-precious metal tourmaline. CRAZY. Do I believe? Hmmm...
Check out all the eye-catching colors at ideeli for only $14.

Time for some color

I am sorry but these watches are fugly in so many ways. The Marc Jacobs letters are obnoxious and the half clear plastic looks like the plastic on kids toys. You can find a much cheaper and cuter bright colored watch that look way better than these.

$175.00

The Michael Kors watch is much better looking in all the colors he offers. I am a little bias because I love his watches.

$195.00

I still prefer the Nixon watches I blogged about. They retail at $60.00 and are perfect for a colorful watch. You want to wear your watches a lot, and with some of the crazy colors it makes it hard to justify spending a lot of money on one you may not wear often.

$60.00

I personally love the Michael Kors color watch, Zodiac also has a large selection of colorful watches.

Nixon Time Teller

I love watches and I think these Nixon watches are a great deal for an everyday fun watch in funky colors. Perfect for class! There are so many choices. I saw someone wearing one and it was a nice size and they do not look cheap on... the best part is they are only $60!

Pick your flavor: Michael Kors Watches

These are all lovely! Actually, I want them all! At $250.00 you get the bigger gold hardware on the side of the face. Just some more items I can add to my closet someday, maybe, I can buy these. I feel like they are in a sense classic colors with gold and could be worn for a long time. They also seem more functional for day and night wear. I think it is a huge plus to have watches that you can wear during the day in a casual sense and also look classic and fun at night with whatever you are wearing. My current watches are great for the day, but I think they look silly if I wear them out. Until then, my Zodiacs will have to continue bringing vanillaness to my life!

Classy in Chopard

I am having issues finding an image of my real Chopard dream watch, but this is close enough. I really love the round face, I spent some time looking at their square faced happy sport watches and they do not seem proportioned correctly. I think the mixed metals is okay, but all rose gold is so appealing(I will keep looking for a better picture). After recently discovering rose gold, I am in LOVE with it. Regular gold is too yellow, white gold is losing its attractiveness, platinum just looks like silver and well silver is just silver -- rose gold is special. It is even better because it is worth more than gold and can hold your investment well. This is my personal method of attempting to justify purchasing a Chopard watch (you can't look at your money in the bank, but you can look at a beautiful watch on your wrist) Also, the dancing diamonds are gorgeous!!! You cannot take your eyes off them, so not only is the watch alone beautiful, but adding the dancing diamonds ...nothing in my opinion is classier than a Chopard Happy Sport watch.

I must be realistic with myself and until I can afford a rose gold Chopard, I can settle with a stainless steel version. It is much more appropriate for everyday wear and can also handle being worn everyday since it is a much stronger metal. When in doubt, you will always be able watch you diamonds "dance".

Swiss made....and Chanel

After I saw that shopgirl at the sunglasses store rocking the white ceramic watch I've been lusting for my own Chanel.  She was wearing hella accessories but the watch didn't seem to clash but  looked perfect.  I need!
The simple face is so fresh looking!  White or black?
And diamonds for those showy girls...
Now I can return to the VI and be the perfect shopgirl trying to peddle lovely sunglasses to to European cruise takers and American college students...
