Lovely Wool Jacket

I love jackets, and not only because where I live you wear jackets about 8 months of the year. I love this Marc Jacobs wool jacket because of the great color and fun frill on the bottom. You cannot go wrong with a classic cut red jacket, and you also get the added touch on the bottom.

Time for some color

I am sorry but these watches are fugly in so many ways. The Marc Jacobs letters are obnoxious and the half clear plastic looks like the plastic on kids toys. You can find a much cheaper and cuter bright colored watch that look way better than these.

I still prefer the Nixon watches I blogged about. They retail at $60.00 and are perfect for a colorful watch. You want to wear your watches a lot, and with some of the crazy colors it makes it hard to justify spending a lot of money on one you may not wear often.

Sandals Blergh! Pt. Ankle Cuffs

I don't understand why sandals would have ankle cuffs.  Keep your ankles warm during breezy summer nights?  Are these the wristbands for your ankles(maybe you have sweaty ankles)?

There are so many things that I don't like about these Marc sandals: the thin, horizontal vamp seems impractical, the buckles look like they came from a very average Coach bag, and of course the ankle cuff.  Between the thin vamp and chunky ankle cuff, the shoe looks extremely unbalanced.  These babies are yours for just 400!

I can tolerate the Tory Burch Stud T-strap flats.  Although the shape of the sandal still seems a bit silly, the zipper in the back is fitting for an ankle cuff.  As a whole, the design of this shoe flows.  And they're 100 cheaper than the Marc pair!

A bit too mousey?

I used to have a pair of black felt flats from Urbn with some type of animal face on the front of the shoe.  I loved that pair of flats...maybe it was being in 7th grade, or maybe it was just my Asian-ness out in full force.  If I had $300 to burn, I might splurge on this similar pair of Marc flats.  The red color is very rich...and Asian appropriate too, as red is believed to be lucky in Chinese culture.

I love when someone's outfit has a small, quirky detail that truly makes it her own look.

Marc Jacobs cardi

Seeing girls in the same basic cardis has got me in the sweater doldrums.  The tiny asymmetrical buttons on this Marc Jacobs sweater is my cure.

Because it is asymmetrical, it takes a certain body type to own the buttoned-up look.  All the details make this a great sweater to wear underneath a coat in the winter and as a light jacket in the spring.  A bit out of my current budget at $200!
