Spotted at Cornell: Timberland

Welcome to Timberland, the land of the classic male work boot. The classic male work boot.

Who wears these boots? The obvious stereotypes: construction workers, carpenters, heavy equipment operators, garbage men, lumber jacks oh and Cornell boys. Yes, Cornell boys. These are the boys who walk around thinking they own the big red, frat bros, trust fund babies etc.

Why do they feel the need to wear the most horrendous boots? Especially, since work boots are meant to be worn when you are working. Spoken by a true farmer, "those boots have never seen a day of work in their life." After class, do these boys work on building more pong tables for their frat's party that weekend? Is that why they need construction boots? Why do they wear the laces all undone and scuff their feet as they go to class (when they do)...does it make them unique/cool/attractive? Do they think they actually look cool? Do they think it's in style? I ponder these questions everyday on my way to class. Ahhh someone needs to help theses boys out

Boys, make me a happy sport and let Biggie rock the Timberlands; get your mommy's credit card, order some real boots and stop pretending to be something you are not.
