Diet Experiment: Half Marathon Training

Since everyone is trying to find a way to lose weight, I have decided it is time for me to really take action and make some conscious healthy decisions. First, I am going to run a half-marathon with Equestrian Sailor. I am excited because it will get in in shape for this summer, I can start enjoying running again and lose some weight and get toned! Also, it is much easier to tell people you cannot eat something because you are training, they won't force you or bug you about it either. Yesterday, I went on my first outside run of the year, it felt great! I really wanted to see where my fitness level was. That being said, I want to aim to be able to do around 9 minute miles for the race. This will give me a good goal to work for. I have already found a training program that I think I can follow and work.

Here's my plan:

Day two and I already fell -- hurt my ankle and cut my knee -- off to a great start! Can't wait to see what I do to myself by June!
